Beryl Bender Birch -

David Life - is a certified Advanced Level II practitioner of the Ashtanga system of Shri K. Pattabhi Jois of Mysore India. His studies of yoga around the world with many teachers included his gurus Shri Brahmananda Saraswati, Shri Swami Nirmalananda and Shri K. Pattabhi Jois. He spent several years as a sannyas (renunciate) of a lineage of yogic monks in India. He has received Kalachakra and Bodhisattva initiation from His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. His interest in yoga is supported by his artistic, literary and metaphysical studies. He imbues his classes with metaphor, musicality and spirituality, spiced with humor, vigor and spontaneity. He is considered to be a "teacher's teacher" and he is a respected, popular, and in-demand teacher around the globe. He has taught for twenty years throughout the United States and as far afield as Canada, Germany, France, UK, Italy, India, Singapore, Philippines, Australia, Hong Kong, and the Caribbean, and Israel.

Denise Cook -
is owner of YaYa yoga in lone tree colorado. She offers Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga which is an ultimate experience for people who are ready to tap both their physical and spiritual power.

Duncan Wong's yogic path began in his teens when he sought solace from his combative youth. His yogic roots are founded in the Ashtanga Vinyasa lineage, which he is authorized to teach by Master K. P. Jois, of Mysore, India. He is certified in the Jivamukti method, and attributes his asana-goddess reconnection to co-creators, Sharon Gannon and David Life, of New York. He received his black belt teaching degrees, and his primary Buddhist influence, from his life-long Korean Kuk Sool sword mentor, Master S.J. Su, of San Francisco. Duncan’s dual-edged path found common ground in his exploration and research of the Thai and Shiatsu healing.

Elliott McEldowney - is certified at the 200 hour level with Yoga Alliance and has been teaching yoga for over 3 years. He brings a rigorous understanding of the ashtanga structure to all his classes. Elliott teaches three styles of classes: astanga, power and vinyasa.

Gail Mondry
's unique vinyasa teaching style reflects her years as a classical dancer, an athlete, and a yoga practitioner at the Center for Yoga. Her 30-year career in the fitness arena in metro-Detroit has culminated in an ability to teach strong vinyasa classes that are filled with energy, creativity, humor, and compassion. Gail is a senior teacher at the Jonny Kest Center for Yoga where she teaches workshops, Healthy Backs Yoga, and Vinyasa Yoga, and assists with teacher training.

Heather Heineman

Heather's teaching is heavily influenced by a background in anatomy and dance, which guides her focus on alignment and movement. She loves to demonstrate how the practice can be a metaphor for life weaving poses together in a choreography wherein everything is connected and divine, the "intimacy of the intricate."

Heidi Sormaz -
is the owner of Fresh yoga in New Haven CT. She teaches Forrest yoga, an intense, mindful yoga that builds flexibility, intelligence, and strength while helping students to deepen their relationship with their authentic self.

Jasmine Tarkeshi -is the co-owner of Laughing Lotus yoga
center in New York city. She teaches a spirited sytle of vinyasa that creatively and passionately links the physical poses with the rhythm of the breath.

Mimi Loureiro -
created O2 Yoga in 1998 as a distinctive and unique yoga practice.O2 Yoga featurea two styles of yoga: traditional Astanga and O2 Yoga. Mimi is known for her creative, unusual vinyasa sequencing.

Paul Grilley's Yin Yoga is the relaxed practice of floor postures for three to five minutes at a time. It is the ideal compliment to the more muscular, or “Yang,” forms of yoga. A Yin practice emphasizes the connective tissues of the hips, thighs, pelvis, and lower spine. In this way, it prepares the body and mind for longer meditation practices. By drawing your awareness away from your muscles and deeper into your bones, a deep level of relaxed focus is achieved.

Seán Johnson - is the founder of Wild lotus yoga in New Orleans LA and a professional Kirtan leader and recording artist. Sean teaches three styles of classes: serenity, power and vinyasa.

Sharon Gannon has been practicing yoga and meditation for 30 years. She is the author of several books and has produced yoga related videos and DVDs, as well as music CDs.

Stacey Brass - is a senior teacher at Laughing Lotus in New York city. She teaches vinyasa with a blend of graceful and creative movement intermingled with passion for alignment and attention to detail. Stacey's classes are imbued with yogic teachings.
